Appointments

You’ll be made aware of how long your session will take when you book. I do my best to adhere to these appointment times although in some cases this can overrun. Please arrive promptly for your session and ensure you’re no more than 10 minutes early. I don’t have a waiting room!

Parking

There’s free parking available outside my home in the close. There’s usually an empty space right outside my house. Please remember this is a small residential parking area. If you park in a neighbours space, I’ll ask you to move to a more suitable space before we begin our session.

Visiting my Home Practice

When you come for a treatment you’ll be coming to my home. I have a designated therapy room which is up a flight of stairs. We’ll sit downstairs to complete any consultation forms and discuss your treatment. Whilst I live in a very quiet area on the outskirts of a sleepy village, there is sometimes some noise from the neighbours, bin collections, and the occasional unexpected knock or ring at the door (which will be ignored). I also live quite close to the railway line, so a few trains might go past while you’re here.

Pet allergies

I have a very elderly cat called Cookie. Cookie usually stays hidden asleep somewhere, but she may come and say hello. If you are allergic to animals please let me know and I will ensure she is are kept away from you. You may want to take an antihistamine if you feel concerned about having a reaction. Cookie is never allowed into my therapy room.

Disability and Mobility

For clients who can’t walk up stairs, I can arrange to provide the treatment downstairs in my living room. I have toilets both downstairs and upstairs. For clients who have mobility issues and cannot make the journey to my home clinic, I can sometimes arrange to visit you in your own home. Please message me to discuss options.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee of £30. Where possible please give me as much notice as you can if you need to cancel your appointment. You will always be given the option to re-schedule your appointment. Repeated late cancellations and non-payment of cancellation fees may result in a termination of our contract of service and you will no longer be able to book treatments with me.

Privacy Policy

Please see my full privacy policy here.

Payments

I prefer payment in cash, payable at the beginning or end of our session or bank transfer, payable in advance. I’ll also accept payments via PayPal but much prefer bank transfer. Digital payments should be made prior to our treatment session.

Refunds

I do not offer refunds.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. I will always do my best to find you another suitable appointment time. If you need to cancel/reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time, you may be subject to a £30 cancellation fee (see cancellation policy above).

Treatments on children

I am happy to offer treatments on children providing a parent, legal guardian or appropriate adult is present. A full consultation will be required along with a parental signature. I request that the adult remains present at all times during treatment sessions.

Gift Vouchers

If you would like to gift a treatment or buy vouchers towards a treatment for friends or family please contact me directly.

Block bookings

I am happy to discuss block bookings discounts for 3 sessions if you pay in advance. You will be expected to attend all 3 sessions within a period of 3 months. If your situation changes that means you can no longer receive treatment you may be offered one of my other therapies instead. If you cannot receive any of the treatments I offer for health related reasons please contact me immediately.

Inappropriate requests/Clients under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs

I am a professional Holistic Therapist and offer holistic treatments that include massage in my therapy room at home. Any inappropriate requests will be dealt with accordingly. If at any point I feel unsafe due to inappropriate requests or comments I reserve the right to withdraw treatment and ask you to leave my home. Do not come for a treatment while under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs. I will refuse treatment if I suspect you are under the influence of illicit drugs or intoxicated. This is would not ensure a safe treatment for you or me. If you are intoxicated and have driven or are about to drive, I will inform the police. In both cases outlined above, you will be expected to pay for your session. No refunds will be given.
