How to find me
My home and therapy room is situated on the edge of a quiet village on the outskirts of Winchester, Hampshire, UK. There is free parking available outside my home.
Regular Stagecoach buses are every 20 mins from Winchester Town Centre and Winchester train station. A Dayrider ticket is often better value than a return. (Summer 2023 – all single tickets are £2 and are currently the cheaper option!).
To get here by bus you will need to catch The Spring (Springvale bus) and get off at The King Charles Pub bus stop.
It’s a 5-10 min walk from the bus stop up a slight hill to reach my home
Kings Worthy & Winchester
If you live outside the area, why not make a day of it and check out what Winchester has to offer.
Winchester Cathedral, Wolvesley Castle, The Great Hall and Winchester Museum are open all year round. There are beautiful river walks, Winchester Mill and many restaurants/pubs to choose from.
On the outskirts of town, you can walk up St Catherine’s Hill, St Giles’ Hill, see the water meadows, visit Hospital of St Cross or explore the Hockley Railway Viaduct.
If someone is bringing you and needs to while away an hour during your treatment, there are many beautiful places to discover in Kings Worthy.
There are a few lovely country walks that can be reached from my location. If you’d like more details, please let me know.
The King Charles Pub is 5 mins walk away. It serves great food and has a lovely outdoor area for kids and adults.
Kings Worthy has two children’s play parks. One situated in Eversley Park in Loader Close, and the other in the centre of Springvale village, near Tubbs Hall on Fraser Road/Harwood Place.
Eversley Park provides free parking for walks over to the river and the park. There is an orchard to be found, along with a circular walk around a native wildflower meadow. If you’re brave you might find the ruins of Kings Worthy House and the back entrance to The Cart & Horses Pub.
