Herbs and pollinator friendly.
All grown organically.
I’ve been tending to this garden for over 17 years, teaching myself the basics of gardening and then actively learning more as the years passed. In 2022, I finally re-landscaped my humble space to maximise the light and create more space to grow more plants.
Almost all the plants I grow are used in herbal medicine or aromatherapy. It was important to me to surround myself with healing plants, not only to pick and use in my work and spiritual practices, but because many of the herbs and edible flowers are excellent food for the pollinators.
I have a few plants that aren’t used for medicine, that are purely there for their beauty and attractiveness to pollinating insects but the majority are medicinal and edible.
My garden is such a healing space and I’m so proud of what I have achieved. If you’d like to visit my space and meet my plants, please drop me a message!

Wildlife
Wildlife in the garden has been so abundant this year (2023). I’ve been visited numerous times by Hummingbird Hawk moths, seen plenty of Ladybirds and many varieties of bees. The butterflies have been busy, along with hoverflies and the occasional dragonfly. There’s also lots of grasshoppers this year!
I’m blessed to be the guardian to a colony of ashy mining bees that live in the ground at the top end of the garden. They’re most active in the Spring and begin to fly when the weather is warmer.
The garden is home to many birds. Blackbirds, collared doves, sparrows, blue tits and pigeons. Overhead I regularly see house martins, swifts, swallows, buzzards and red kites. My favourites are the crows that live in the trees out the front. I love seeing them and hearing their calls.
